1. Start here

In plain language These Terms are the rules for playing Turnlock. Use the App for personal play, don’t misuse it, and understand it is provided “as is.” There is no account. Optional Turnlock Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple or Google. Optional short videos may unlock a hint after the first free one, a second Daily puzzle, or a session preview of a locked world; Circuit, Canal, and Daily puzzle #1 never require a watch or payment. Our Privacy Policy explains information practices.

What this means for you If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Progress stays on the device. Apple and Google’s store rules also apply to the copy you download from them.

2. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Numoro Tech (“Numoro Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your access to and use of the Turnlock application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.

3. Eligibility

The App is a general-audience puzzle. It is not directed to children under 13. By using the App, you represent that:

you are at least 13 years old, or you are a parent or legal guardian accepting these Terms for a child who uses a device you control;
you have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract, or you are that parent or guardian;
you will comply with these Terms and applicable law; and
if you use the App on behalf of an organization, you are authorized to bind that organization.

You are responsible for anyone who plays on a device you control, including whether they watch optional rewarded videos.

4. The license we grant you

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial play, consistent with applicable Apple App Store or Google Play rules.

You may not rent, sublicense, or commercially host the App, or use it to provide a paid solving service. Puzzles, art, and audio that ship with the App remain ours or our licensors’.

5. Your use of the App

You agree that you will not:

copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law;
interfere with or disrupt the App, the optional ads toolkit, or these legal pages, or attempt unauthorized access;
use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
scrape, bulk-export, or republish App puzzles, art, or audio in violation of our rights;
misuse rewarded videos (for example, automated or deceptive completion) or interfere with advertising identifiers in a way that violates store or ads-company rules; or
misrepresent an affiliation with Numoro Tech.

The App does not host chat, public profiles, or player-to-player messages. There is no user-generated content community to moderate. You are still responsible for anything you send if you email us.

6. No accounts

Turnlock does not require an account, password, or social login. Worlds, stars, badges, an in-progress board, Daily flags, and Settings (music and sound-effect volume, haptics, and “Help improve the app”) stay on your device. You are responsible for maintaining control of that device and any backups that contain App data. Uninstalling or using Settings → Reset all progress is how you clear play data; we cannot log into a cloud profile and wipe it for you, because none exists.

Campaign boards ship inside the App and do not require a sign-in. A network connection is used if you choose to watch an optional rewarded video, buy or restore Turnlock Plus, or if you open Privacy, Terms, Support, or Privacy choices in Settings (those pages open in your device’s browser).

7. Our intellectual property

The App — including software, disc-and-path design, world art, puzzles, text, graphics, bundled music and sound effects, and trademarks — is owned by Numoro Tech or its licensors. Except for the limited license in Section 4, no rights in the App are granted. Content, puzzle order, and world availability may change over time. You may not use our names or distinctive board design to suggest we endorse a third party without our written permission.

8. Purchases and advertising

The App is free to download. Turnlock Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play — not a Numoro Tech checkout. Payment, taxes, refunds, and family sharing follow that store’s rules. We do not receive your card number. Restore purchases from Settings if you reinstall or change devices while the subscription is still valid with that store account.

Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel in your store account settings. An unused portion of a free trial, if any, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where the store requires that.

While Plus is active, all ten campaign worlds are playable, hints do not require a video, and rewarded offers are skipped. If the subscription ends, worlds you already finished stay unlocked; other kits return to the milestone tree. Stars, badges, and solves stay on the device. Resetting progress in the App does not cancel Plus with Apple or Google.

The only advertising in this version is optional rewarded video: a short video you may choose to watch for a hint after the first free hint on a board, to unlock Daily puzzle #2, or to preview one locked world for a session. We do not show banners, interstitials, or ads that appear merely because you opened the App. Circuit, Canal, and Daily puzzle #1 are fully playable with zero watches and zero payment. The App may limit how often it offers a video so play is not interrupted at every tap.

Rewarded videos are served by companies that help us show ads (currently including Google). Their terms and privacy practices apply to the video itself. Completing a video is not a purchase from Numoro Tech and does not create an account.

10. App Store and Google Play

If you download the App from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and Numoro Tech only — not Apple Inc., Google LLC, or their affiliates. The store provider is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, or support, except as required by the store’s own terms. Your use must also comply with the store’s terms. To the extent required by those terms, the store provider is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them regarding the App. In the event of a failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) as required by Apple’s terms; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. The same idea applies to Google Play where Google’s terms give Google comparable beneficiary or refund roles.

Optional rewarded videos are provided through Google’s ads tools. Disputes about a particular video, advertising identifier, or ads-account setting are handled under Google’s terms, not as a store purchase from us.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT EVERY BOARD WILL LOAD ON EVERY DEVICE, OR THAT AN OPTIONAL REWARDED VIDEO WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN YOU ASK FOR ONE. THE APP IS ENTERTAINMENT. IT IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL PUZZLE COMPETITION, A SCHOOL PRODUCT, OR ADVICE OF ANY KIND.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NUMOROTECH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US $50. WHERE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Because Turnlock Plus is billed by the store, amount (A) includes amounts the store actually remitted to us for that subscription in the twelve months before the claim, and is typically zero if you only used the free campaign.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Numoro Tech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms or applicable law, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, discontinuation, or legal or platform requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) remain in effect. Uninstalling removes the App from that device; it does not automatically erase records ads companies may already hold from videos you chose to watch.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except for mandatory consumer protections where required. Exclusive venue lies in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, except where you retain non-waivable local rights.

16. Electronic communications

Using the App, visiting these pages, or emailing us constitutes electronic communication. You consent to receive notices electronically to the extent allowed by law, including a revised “Last updated” date on this page. Where the law requires a writing, electronic records satisfy that requirement.

17. Corrections

The App may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in copy, puzzle presentation, or help text. We may correct them and update content at any time without prior notice, to the extent permitted by law. A unique campaign solution on a given board is part of the design; if a board is unsolvable we will treat that as a defect to fix, not as a prize claim.

18. General

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. No failure to enforce is a waiver. Assignment by you requires our consent; we may assign in a corporate transaction. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and required store terms are the entire agreement regarding the App. Headings are for convenience only. The App is not offered as a web game in this version; if a limited web build exists in internal testing, it is not a licensed consumer product under these Terms.
