Privacy Policy
1. Start here: plain-language summary
2. About this Policy
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Numoro Tech (“Numoro Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you download, install, or use the Turnlock application (the “App”). The App is offered on Apple’s App Store and Google Play for phones and tablets. It is not offered as a web game in this version.
This Policy is written for people who just want to play, and for privacy counsel and store reviewers who need complete categories, purposes, sharing, rights, transfers, retention, and regional notices. It is separate from our Terms of Service. Please read both.
These pages also support Apple App Store and Google Play disclosure expectations (what we handle, why, with whom, how long, and how to make choices). Step-by-step deletion and privacy-choice guidance is at Your privacy choices.
3. Words we use
- Personal information / personal data
- Information that identifies you, relates to you, or could reasonably be linked to you or your device — for example an email you send us, or an advertising identifier on the device if you watch an optional rewarded video. We use these terms interchangeably in this Policy.
- On your device
- Information stored locally on your phone or tablet. You remove play data with Settings → Reset all progress, and you remove remaining App files by clearing storage or uninstalling. We cannot reach into the device to erase it from afar.
- Service providers
- Companies that help us run parts of the product. For Turnlock, that currently includes companies that serve optional rewarded videos (Google), companies that operate the App Store and Google Play if you buy Turnlock Plus, and companies that host these legal pages. They are allowed to use information to provide those services — not to buy a mailing list of Turnlock players from us.
- Advertising identifier
- A resettable ID that the operating system provides so ads can be served and measured without using your name. On Android this is often called the advertising ID; on iPhone and iPad it is often called the Identifier for Advertisers. You can limit or reset it in system settings.
- Rewarded video
- A short video you may choose to watch in exchange for a convenience in the App — a hint after the first free hint on a board, unlocking the optional second Daily puzzle, or a session preview of one locked world. It is not required to play Circuit, Canal, or Daily puzzle #1.
- Turnlock Plus
- An optional auto-renewing subscription sold by Apple or Google. While active on this device it unlocks all campaign worlds, unlimited hints, and skips rewarded videos. Payment cards stay with the store. The App only remembers a local “subscribed” flag so those entitlements work offline.
- Help improve the app
- A Settings switch stored on your device (on unless you turn it off). It is meant to control crash reports and anonymous usage reports. Those reporting services are not connected in this version, so turning the switch on does not currently send those reports. When we connect them, the same switch will gate them.
4. Who we are
The App is published by Numoro Tech (NUMORO LLC). For privacy questions or to exercise rights described in this Policy, we are the organization responsible for deciding how personal information we hold is used.

5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to ask what personal information we have, to correct it, to delete it, to get a copy, or to object to certain uses. We honor those rights as required by applicable law. Because the App does not create an account, most play information exists only on the device you control.
| What you may want to do | How |
|---|---|
| Clear worlds, stars, badges, Daily flags, and an in-progress board on this device | In the App, open Settings and choose Reset all progress. Confirm to wipe that play data. Sound, haptics, and the “Help improve the app” switch stay until you uninstall or clear App storage |
| Remove remaining App files, including settings | Uninstall Turnlock, or in device settings clear storage / data for the App |
| Play without watching ads | Skip rewarded videos, or subscribe to Turnlock Plus. Circuit, Canal, and Daily puzzle #1 never require a watch or payment. The first hint on a board is free |
| Manage or cancel Turnlock Plus | Use Settings → Manage subscription (opens your App Store or Google Play subscriptions page) or restore purchases on a new device. Canceling in the store stops renewal; worlds you already earned by play stay open |
| Limit advertising identifiers used for optional videos | Use your device’s advertising or tracking controls (for example, reset or delete the advertising ID on Android, or refuse tracking if iOS asks). You can still play |
| Keep the future crash/usage switch off | In Settings, turn off Help improve the app. That preference is stored on the device. This version does not send crash or usage reports yet; when we connect those services, a switch that is off will keep them from sending |
| Change music, sound effects, or haptics | Use the volume sliders and haptics switch in Settings. Those choices stay on the device |
| Ask a privacy question or exercise rights where the law applies | Email support@numorotech.com |
| See step-by-step privacy choices | Read Your privacy choices |
6. What information we handle
| In plain language | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Play progress on this device — which puzzles you have solved, stars, badges, unlocked worlds, personal-best rotate counts, an in-progress board (including how many hints you have used on it), Daily puzzle flags for the current day, a local Turnlock Plus entitlement flag, and a small local record of how recently the App offered an optional video | Saved in the App’s private storage on the phone or tablet | You, while you play |
| Settings on this device — music volume, sound-effect volume, haptics on/off, and the “Help improve the app” switch | Saved with your other App preferences on the device | You, in Settings |
| Optional rewarded-video signals — if you choose to watch a video, the ads toolkit may use an advertising identifier, coarse device and connection details, and technical events needed to load, show, and measure that video (for example whether it completed so the App can grant a hint or Daily #2) | Advertising identifier; ad load and completion events handled by the ads toolkit | Your device and the ads company, only in connection with a video you elect to watch (the toolkit may also prepare a video in the background so one is ready if you ask) |
| Optional store subscription records — if you buy Turnlock Plus, Apple or Google process the payment and keep the purchase under their policies. The App may receive a store purchase token so it can unlock Plus on this device. We do not see your card number | Store product identifiers and a local subscribed flag | You, when you buy or restore through the App Store or Google Play |
| What you send if you email us | Your email address and message content | You, when you contact support or privacy |
| Connection details if you open these legal pages | Standard technical information our website host needs to deliver the page (such as an IP address and browser type) | Your device, when you tap Privacy, Terms, Support, or Privacy choices in Settings (those links open in your device’s browser) |
What we do not collect in this version
- Accounts — no email/password signup, phone login, or social login
- Your name, birthday, contacts, photos, or a public profile
- Chat, friend rooms, or anything you type for other players to see
- Precise or approximate location as a product feature (we do not request location permission)
- Payment card numbers or a Numoro Tech checkout — Plus is billed by Apple or Google
- Banner ads, interstitial ads, or ads that appear when you merely open the App
- Crash reports or usage statistics sent to Numoro Tech — those reporting services are not connected yet (the Settings switch is stored locally and will gate them if we connect them later)
- Camera, microphone, or photo-library access
- Push notifications or practice reminders
- Information from data brokers or purchased mailing lists
- Puzzle downloads from our servers — boards ship inside the App
Store “nutrition labels” and Play Data safety should be read together with this Policy. Progress that never leaves the device is still described here so you can see what the App remembers locally.
7. How we use information
| Why | What we typically use |
|---|---|
| Let you continue worlds, keep stars and badges, resume a board, and remember Daily progress for the current day | On-device play progress |
| Honor music, sound-effect, and haptics preferences, and remember whether “Help improve the app” is on or off | On-device settings |
| Play music and sound effects from files bundled with the App | Local audio files and your volume settings — not a streaming account |
| Offer an optional hint after the first free hint, a second Daily puzzle, or a session preview of a locked world, if you choose to watch a rewarded video — or skip those videos while Turnlock Plus is active | The ads toolkit when you watch; an advertising identifier and related technical data used by the ads company to serve and measure the video; a local record of recent offers so the App does not nag; the local Plus flag when you are subscribed |
| Honor Turnlock Plus on this device after a store purchase or restore | Store purchase tokens handled by Apple or Google; a subscribed flag stored on the device |
| Open Privacy, Terms, Support, or Privacy choices when you tap those rows in Settings | Your device’s browser; our website host’s ordinary connection logs for these pages |
| Respond to support and privacy requests; meet legal duties | What you send when you contact us |
| If we later connect crash and usage reporting (not active in this version) | Only if “Help improve the app” remains on. Those reports would help us fix bugs and understand which features are used — not to sell ads or build a named profile. We will update this Policy when that connection ships |
Where laws require a legal basis, we rely on:
- Providing the App you asked for — storing progress and settings on the device so puzzles, stars, badges, and audio preferences work.
- Legitimate interests — answering mail you send us, keeping these legal pages available, and operating optional rewarded videos in places where a separate consent step is not required.
- Consent — you choose whether to watch a rewarded video. On some devices the system or ads toolkit may also ask whether advertising identifiers may be used in a more personalized way; you can refuse and still play. Where ePrivacy or similar rules require consent for advertising identifiers, we treat a completed watch (and any system prompt you accept) as that choice, and a refusal or skipped video as a refusal.
- Legal obligation — keeping or disclosing information when the law requires it.
Play progress is processed on your device to provide the App. We do not receive your stars or board state unless you choose to include them in an email to us.
8. When we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not give Turnlock player lists to data brokers. We do not operate our own cross-app ad network.
If you never watch a rewarded video and never email us, we typically receive nothing about your play. If you do watch a video, companies that serve that video receive the technical information they need to select, show, and measure it. Under some U.S. state laws, providing an advertising identifier to an ads network can be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising even when we are not paid a cash price for a list of names. You can avoid that by not watching optional videos, and by using your device’s advertising or tracking controls.
| Who | In plain language | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Companies that serve optional rewarded videos (currently including Google) | The ads toolkit that loads a short video when you ask for a paid hint or Daily #2. It may use an advertising identifier and related device signals. Google’s practices are described in Google’s Privacy Policy | Serve and measure a video you chose; tell the App whether you earned the hint or extra Daily puzzle. Banner, interstitial, and app-open ads are not used |
| Companies that help us host these legal pages (currently including Google cloud services) | Website hosting for numorotech.com | Deliver this Policy and related pages; they may process standard connection information such as an IP address. See Google’s Privacy Policy |
| Apple or Google as store operators | The App Store or Google Play, if you download the App, buy or restore Turnlock Plus, or open a store page from your device | Distribution, optional subscription billing and restore, reviews, and store rules — those companies’ own policies apply |
| Advisors or authorities when required | When the law requires disclosure, or to protect rights, safety, or the App | Legal compliance or security |
We do not disclose on-device stars, badges, or board state to advertising networks. The ads toolkit does not need your puzzle solution to show a video. If you email us, your message is handled so we can respond.
9. How long we keep information
- Play progress on your device: until you use Settings → Reset all progress, clear App storage, or uninstall.
- Settings on your device (volumes, haptics, “Help improve the app”): until you change them, clear App storage, or uninstall. Reset all progress does not wipe these switches.
- Optional rewarded-video records held by ads companies: according to those companies’ own retention rules (see Google’s Privacy Policy). We cannot set those clocks from inside the App.
- Local “recently offered a video” notes: until Reset all progress, clear storage, or uninstall, and they age out as the App’s own limits reset.
- Support emails: as needed to respond and meet legal duties, then as our ordinary email retention requires.
- Legal-page connection logs: as our website host retains ordinary security and delivery logs.
10. Where information is processed
Core play and progress stay on your device. Optional rewarded videos and these legal pages may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google and our website host operate. If you email us, that correspondence may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our email tools operate. Those places may have different privacy laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards (including standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms used by the relevant provider).
11. How we protect information
Progress and settings are stored in the App’s private local storage on your device. Protect the device with a passcode or biometrics. Reset all progress or uninstalling removes the play data described in Section 9 from that installation. No method of storage is completely secure — especially on a compromised or jailbroken device. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures for emails we receive. Optional videos travel through the ads company’s systems; we do not control their security practices. We cannot promise absolute security of any internet message or ad request.
12. Children
Turnlock is a general-audience puzzle. It is not directed to children under 13 and is not enrolled in Google Play’s Designed for Families program or Apple’s Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for our own databases.
You do not need an account, a name, or an email to play. Optional rewarded videos are a convenience for hints and a second Daily puzzle; they are not aimed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 used the App in a way that sent personal information to us (for example, an email), contact support@numorotech.com. We will delete information we hold as required by applicable children’s privacy law, including COPPA in the United States where it applies.
Store age ratings (for example Everyone / 4+) describe content, not a claim that the App is designed for young children.
13. California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) may provide additional rights. In the past 12 months, from the App itself we have not collected names or account credentials. We may have received:
- Identifiers and customer-record information (such as an email address and message content) if you contacted us, used for the support and legal purposes in Section 7.
- Identifiers and internet or electronic activity associated with optional rewarded videos (such as an advertising identifier and ad-measurement events), processed by Google and its advertising partners when you choose to watch — or when the ads toolkit prepares a video — as described in Section 8.
- On-device inferences about play (stars, badges, boards) that remain on your device and are not sent to us.
We have not sold personal information for money. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a “right to limit.” We do not offer financial-incentive or “pay-for-privacy” programs.
Optional rewarded videos may involve providing an advertising identifier to Google’s ads tools. Some California interpretations treat that as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run a separate “Do Not Sell or Share” cookie banner inside the App because the App is not a website that sets advertising cookies. Your practical opt-outs are: do not watch rewarded videos; use iOS tracking prompts and system advertising settings; reset or delete the advertising identifier; and email us if you want confirmation of what we hold (typically only support mail).
- You may request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold (typically support email) by emailing support@numorotech.com. We will verify requests as required by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
- We will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA/CPRA rights.
- We aim to respond to verifiable consumer requests within legally required timeframes (generally 45 days, extendable as permitted).
On-device play data is not held on our servers. Reset all progress, clearing App storage, or uninstalling is how you delete it. We cannot compel Google to erase advertising records it holds; use Google’s tools and Google’s Privacy Policy for that path.
14. Europe, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR (or Swiss law), including access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise rights against Numoro Tech, email support@numorotech.com. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to help. Most App content exists only on your device, so Reset all progress, clearing storage, or uninstalling is how you delete it.
Legal bases, where those laws apply, are described in Section 7 (providing the App, legitimate interests in support and hosting these pages, consent for optional videos and advertising identifiers where required, and legal obligation). International transfers are described in Section 10.
Watching a rewarded video is optional. If you are in a region that requires consent for advertising identifiers, refuse system tracking prompts and skip videos if you do not want ads companies to process that identifier. Campaign play and Daily puzzle #1 do not depend on a watch.
15. Other U.S. state privacy laws
Residents of states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information, to appeal a denied request, and to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information for money. Optional rewarded videos may involve advertising identifiers processed by Google as described in Section 8. Email support@numorotech.com to exercise rights; we will respond as the applicable law requires. If we deny a request, we will explain how to appeal where the law provides an appeal.
We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Device-level advertising controls and skipping optional videos are the on-device opt-outs for ads-related processing we do not ourselves host.
16. Automated decisions and tracking signals
We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you (for example, denying credit or housing). Stars, world unlocks, and hint availability are ordinary game rules on the device. The App does not specially respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Use the choices in Section 5, including device advertising settings and skipping rewarded videos.
17. Device permissions, cookies, and similar technologies
Turnlock is designed so campaign puzzles work with the files that ship on your device. The App requests network access so optional rewarded videos can load and so Settings links can open these pages in your browser. On Android, the App declares use of the advertising identifier because optional videos may use it. On iPhone and iPad, the system may ask whether you allow tracking for ads if you engage with those optional videos; you can say no.
- Network — to load a rewarded video if you ask for one, and to open Privacy, Terms, Support, or Privacy choices in the browser. Core campaign boards do not download from our servers.
- Advertising identifier — used in connection with optional rewarded videos, not for banners or an always-on ad overlay.
- Haptics — optional vibration when you leave the switch on; the App does not need a special permission dialog on most devices beyond what the system already allows for games.
We do not ask for camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, photos, or notification permission for the current App. If a future feature needs a new permission, your device will prompt you, and you can refuse or later change it in system settings.
These legal pages are a static website and do not use advertising cookies. Like most websites, our host may process standard technical connection information to deliver the page (Section 8). Inside the App, local storage holds progress so play can continue. We do not run a cookie-consent banner in the App because the App does not set advertising or analytics cookies on a website. The ads toolkit may use advertising identifiers and similar device technologies, which are not the same as website cookies; control them with the choices in Section 5.
18. Social logins and information from elsewhere
We do not offer social logins (for example Sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook). We do not buy mailing lists or enrich player profiles from data brokers, public databases, or marketing partners. We only handle information as described in Section 6.
19. Other websites and app stores
Links to Apple’s App Store, Google Play, Google’s policies, or other sites we do not control are covered by those companies’ own policies — not this one. Review their policies before providing information there. Settings rows for Privacy, Terms, Support, and Privacy choices open in your device’s browser. For ads and website hosting, see also Google’s Privacy Policy.
20. If our business changes
If we merge, are acquired, or sell assets, personal information we hold (for example, support emails) may transfer as part of that deal, under this Policy or a successor that is at least as protective where the law requires. On-device play data stays on your device unless you choose to move it. Optional-ad records held by Google remain subject to Google’s terms. We will notify you of a material change in who controls information we hold when required.
21. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when practices, the App, or the law change, and will revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes we will take steps required by law (for example, a notice in the App or on this page). Connecting crash or usage reporting would be a material change: we will say so here, and the existing “Help improve the app” switch will gate those reports (off means we will not send them from that installation). We aim to review this Policy at least yearly even when nothing major changes. Continued use after an update acknowledges the Policy to the extent allowed by law.
22. How to review, update, or delete the data we collect from you
Where the law allows, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Turnlock progress and settings live on your device. See Your privacy choices for step-by-step guidance.
- Play data on your device: Settings → Reset all progress, or clear App storage / uninstall. That is the complete deletion path for worlds, stars, badges, and in-progress boards. We cannot remotely wipe a device.
- Settings: change them in the App, or remove them by clearing storage or uninstalling.
- Optional ads records: skip future videos and use device advertising controls. For information Google holds, use Google’s tools; we cannot delete those partner records ourselves.
- Emails we hold: email support@numorotech.com with the subject “Turnlock privacy request” and whether you want access, correction, or deletion. We do not operate a traditional account, so we cannot look up play data by email.
