1. Start here: plain-language summary

If you read only one section Sudoku Adventure is a puzzle app for children, published by Numorotech. Lesson progress, stars, theme places, sound settings, a paused puzzle, an optional parent PIN, and optional reminder times stay on your phone or tablet. Kids can play without an account and without a network connection. Optional daily practice reminders are scheduled on the device only when a grown-up turns them on in Parent Corner. This version has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no tools that send crash reports or usage statistics to us. We do not sell your information.
What this means for you Clear the App’s storage or uninstall to remove progress and settings from that device. Turn reminders off (or deny notification permission) anytime. If a grown-up uses Share, they choose who receives a short “what they learned” note — we do not see the recipient list. Email us with privacy questions. Details below are for families and for privacy / store reviewers.

2. About this Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Numorotech (“Numorotech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you download, install, or use the Sudoku Adventure application (the “App”). The App is offered on Apple’s App Store and Google Play for phones and tablets. It is not offered as a web game in this version.

This Policy is written for everyday players and parents, and for privacy counsel and store reviewers who need complete categories, purposes, sharing, rights, transfers, retention, and regional notices. It is separate from our Terms of Service. Please read both.

These pages also support Apple App Store and Google Play disclosure expectations (what we handle, why, with whom, how long, and how to make choices). Step-by-step deletion guidance is at Your privacy choices.

3. Words we use

Personal information / personal data
Information that identifies you, relates to you, or could reasonably be linked to you or your device.
On your device
Information stored locally on your phone or tablet. You remove it by clearing App storage or uninstalling. We cannot reach into the device to erase it from afar.
Service providers
Companies that help us run parts of a product on our behalf. In this version of Sudoku Adventure, core play and progress do not send puzzle history to service providers.
Parent Corner
Opened from Parental controls in Settings, after a parental gate. Used for legal links, optional reminders, a progress snapshot, and optional Share or store-review links.
Parental gate
A friction step (hold, then a 4-digit PIN; a short math check for links and notification permission) meant to keep children from opening Parental controls. It is not a government ID check and is not “verifiable parental consent” under children’s privacy law, because this version does not collect children’s personal information from the App.

4. Who we are

The App is published by Numorotech (NUMORO LLC).

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to ask what personal information we have, to correct it, to delete it, to get a copy, or to object to certain uses. We honor those rights as required by applicable law. Because this App does not create an account, most App information exists only on the device you control.

What you may want to do How
Remove lesson progress, theme places, sound settings, a paused puzzle, reminder preferences, and the parent PIN on your device In device settings, clear storage for Sudoku Adventure, or uninstall the App
Stop optional practice reminders Turn reminders off in Parent Corner, or revoke notification permission in device Settings
Share a short “what they learned” note Optional, from Parent Corner. Your device’s share tools send it only to the app or person you pick. We do not receive the recipient list
Open Privacy Policy, Terms, or an optional store-review page Links in Parent Corner (after the higher parental gate). Those pages open in your device’s browser and follow the destination’s own rules
Ask a privacy question or exercise rights where the law applies Email support@numorotech.com
See step-by-step privacy choices Read Your privacy choices
Important Because there is no account, uninstalling or clearing storage is the main way to delete App data on a device. We cannot remotely erase what exists only on your device.

6. What information we handle

In plain language Examples Where it comes from
Play progress on this device — which lessons are done, stars earned, which places are unlocked, the theme in use, sound on/off and volume, whether first-run setup is finished, hint and miss counts the App uses internally, and a paused 9×9 puzzle if one is in progress Local progress file on the device You and the child while they play
Parent gate settings on this device — a one-way hash of a 4-digit parent PIN (not the PIN itself in readable form) and whether a safety tip was dismissed Stored PIN hash; tip dismissed flag A grown-up setting up Parent Corner
Optional reminder preferences on this device — whether daily practice nudges are on, and the local time of day. The App also reads the device clock and timezone on the device so a reminder can fire at that time, and may keep a small cartoon-buddy picture in the App’s temporary files so the reminder can show an image Enabled flag; hour and minute; local timezone; temporary reminder picture A grown-up in Parent Corner; the device clock
Optional Share text a grown-up creates — if they tap Share in Parent Corner, the App hands a short learning summary (for example, that the child has practiced rows and columns on a 4×4 grid) plus a store listing link to the device’s share tools Text the grown-up chooses to send The grown-up, when they use Share
What you send if you email us Your email address and message content You, when you contact support or privacy

What we do not collect in this version

Store “nutrition labels” and Play Data safety for this version declare that the App does not collect personal information off the device. What stays on the device is listed above so families can see it.

7. How we use information

Why What we typically use
Let kids continue lessons, keep theme places, remember sound settings, and resume a paused puzzle On-device progress and preferences
Keep Parent Corner behind Parental controls On-device parent PIN hash
Schedule optional daily practice reminders on the device when a parent opts in Reminder preferences, the device clock/timezone, and the device notification system
Let a grown-up share a short learning summary if they choose Share Text handed to the device’s share tools — not sent to us
Respond to support and privacy requests; meet legal duties What you send when you contact us

Where laws require a legal basis, we rely on providing the App you requested (processing play data on the device so lessons can continue), legitimate interests in responding to support and securing our communications, and consent where required (for example, notification permission on your device). Play progress is processed on your device to provide the App; we do not receive it unless you choose to include it in an email to us.

8. When we share information

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (ads that follow someone across unrelated apps and websites). We do not disclose App play data to advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics companies, because we do not receive that data from the App.

Who In plain language Why
People or apps a grown-up picks in Share Whoever they choose in the device’s share sheet (for example Messages or Mail) Only if they tap Share in Parent Corner; we do not see the recipient list
Apple or Google, if a grown-up opens a store page The App Store or Google Play in the device browser or store app Optional review or listing links after the parental gate — those companies’ own policies apply
Companies that help us host these legal pages (currently including Google cloud services) Website hosting for numorotech.com Deliver this Policy and related pages; they may process standard connection information such as an IP address. See Google’s Privacy Policy
Advisors or authorities when required When the law requires disclosure Legal compliance or security

In this version we do not send lesson progress, theme choices, or reminder schedules to analytics, advertising, or cloud game partners. Optional reminders use the device’s own notification system on the phone or tablet. If you email us, your message is handled so we can respond.

9. How long we keep information

10. Where information is processed

Core play and progress stay on your device. If you email us, that correspondence may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our email tools operate. Visiting these legal pages may involve our website host processing connection information in the countries where that host operates. Those places may have different privacy laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.

11. How we protect information

Progress and settings are stored in the App’s local storage on your device. The parent PIN is stored as a one-way hash, not as the readable digits. Protect the device with a passcode or biometrics. Uninstalling removes App data on that device. No method of storage is completely secure — especially on a compromised or jailbroken device. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures for emails we receive; we cannot promise absolute security of any internet message.

12. Children

Sudoku Adventure is directed to children roughly ages 7–12. Parents or guardians are expected to supervise download, Parent Corner, and any links or Share. We designed this version so a child does not need to create an account or provide a name, email, phone number, or photo to play.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own databases. Lesson progress, themes, sound, a paused puzzle, reminder preferences, and the parent PIN hash stay on the device. Reminder wording is playful and does not include the child’s name. Notification permission and opening Privacy Policy, Terms, or store links require the higher parental gate. Share lives in Parent Corner (already behind Parental controls).

Because this version does not collect personal information from children through the App, we do not use a “verifiable parental consent” flow of the kind some online services need before collecting a child’s name or email. The parental gate is a practical lock on Parental controls, not an identity check. Apple Kids Category (Ages 9–11) may appear on the App Store listing. We are not enrolled in Google Play’s Designed for Families program as of this Policy date. We still treat the App as child-directed for these practices.

If you believe a child sent us personal information by email that should be removed from our inbox, contact support@numorotech.com. We will delete it from systems we control as required by applicable children’s privacy law (including COPPA in the United States, where it applies).

13. California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) may provide additional rights. In the past 12 months we have not collected personal information from the App itself. We may have received identifiers and customer-record information (such as an email address and message content) if you contacted us, used for the support and legal purposes in Section 7. We have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

On-device play data is not held by us. Clearing App storage or uninstalling is how you delete it. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent direct marketing.

14. Europe, UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR (or Swiss law), including access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email support@numorotech.com. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to help. Most App content exists only on your device, so clearing App storage or uninstalling is how you delete it.

Legal bases, where those laws apply, are described in Section 7 (providing the App, legitimate interests in support and security, and consent for notification permission). International transfers, if any, are described in Section 10.

15. Automated decisions and tracking signals

We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you (for example, denying a loan or a school place). Lesson unlocks and stars are ordinary game rules on the device. The App does not specially respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals; use the choices in Section 5.

16. Device permissions, cookies, and similar technologies

Sudoku Adventure is designed for offline play on your device. Core lessons do not require network access. Optional grown-up actions may use the network or a permission:

We do not ask for camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or photo library access for the current App. If a future feature needs a new permission, your device will prompt you, and you can refuse or later change it in system settings.

These legal pages are a static website and do not use advertising cookies. Like most websites, our host may process standard technical connection information to deliver the page (Section 8). Inside the App, this version does not use analytics or crash tools that place advertising identifiers. Device local storage holds progress so the App can work offline. We do not run a cookie-consent banner in the App because the App does not set advertising or analytics cookies.

17. Social logins and information from elsewhere

We do not offer social logins (for example Sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook). We do not buy mailing lists or enrich profiles from data brokers, public databases, or marketing partners. We only handle information as described in Section 6.

18. Other websites and app stores

Links to Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or other sites we do not control are covered by those companies’ own policies — not this one. Review their policies before providing information there. For website hosting of these legal pages, see also Google’s Privacy Policy.

19. If our business changes

If we merge, are acquired, or sell assets, personal information we hold (for example, support emails) may transfer as part of that deal, under this Policy or a successor that is at least as protective where the law requires. On-device play data stays on your device unless you choose to move it. We will notify you of a material change in who controls information we hold when required.

20. Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information, to appeal a denied request, and to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising as described above. Email support@numorotech.com to exercise rights; we will respond as the applicable law requires. If we deny a request, we will explain how to appeal where the law provides an appeal.

21. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when practices, the App, or the law change, and will revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes we will take steps required by law (for example, a notice in the App or on this page). We aim to review this Policy at least yearly even when nothing major changes. Continued use after an update acknowledges the Policy to the extent allowed by law.

22. How to review, update, or delete the data we collect from you

Where the law allows, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Sudoku Adventure progress and settings live only on your device — clear App storage or uninstall to remove them. See Your privacy choices for step-by-step guidance.
