1. Start here: plain-language summary

If you read only one section Pocket Pages is a quiet offline journaling app published by Numoro Tech. Your journal entries, photos, handwriting, theme choices, and settings stay on your device. Pages and photos are encrypted on the device; the encryption key is held in the device Keychain / Keystore. We do not ask you to create an account. Core journaling does not need a network connection. Optional Pocket Pages Plus may save an encrypted ZIP backup to your iCloud (iPhone) or Google Drive appData folder (Android). Numoro Tech does not host that file and cannot read it. Restore uses an optional backup PIN if you set one, or the same Apple or Google account (iCloud Keychain on iPhone). If you set a PIN and forget it, nobody can open that cloud backup. A separate free Export ZIP uses a passphrase you choose — that is not the backup PIN and not your journal passcode. Optional anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, and performance diagnostics (Settings → Share anonymous usage stats; on by default) never include your journal words, photos, or handwriting. Optional Pocket Pages Plus purchases are handled by Apple or Google and a purchase-status service provider, currently RevenueCat. They receive purchase and entitlement records—not your journal. We do not sell your information.
What this means for you Clear the App’s storage or uninstall to remove your journal from that device. Email us with privacy questions. Details below are for people who journal and for privacy / store reviewers.

2. About this Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Numoro Tech (“Numoro Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Pocket Pages application (the “App”).

This Policy is separate from our Terms of Service. Please read both.

3. Words we use

Personal information / personal data
Information that identifies you, relates to you, or could reasonably be linked to you or your device.
On your device
Information stored locally on your phone, tablet, or computer. You remove it by clearing App storage or uninstalling.
Service providers
Companies that help us run parts of a product on our behalf, such as crash diagnostics or checking whether Pocket Pages Plus is active. In this version of Pocket Pages, core journaling does not send your entries to service providers.
Export ZIP passphrase
A password you type at Settings → Backup → Export encrypted ZIP. The file holds your journals, letters, remembered lines, reflections, and photos. Pocket Pages does not save that password. If you forget it, the file cannot be opened. It is separate from your journal passcode and from the backup PIN.
Backup PIN
An optional number you can set when you turn on Pocket Pages Plus cloud backup. It is not your journal passcode and not the Export ZIP passphrase. If you set one and forget it, that cloud copy cannot be restored.

5. Your choices and rights

What you may want to do How
Remove journal entries, photos, handwriting, themes, and settings on your device Clear App storage or uninstall
Turn off usage statistics, crash reports, and performance diagnostics On the Settings screen, turn off Share anonymous usage stats (on by default)
Delete a Plus cloud backup in your iCloud or Drive Settings → Backup → Manage iCloud or Manage Google Drive → Delete cloud backup. That control shows only when Plus is active and backup is connected. Turning backup off on this phone leaves the copy in your account. On Android the copy is in a hidden Drive folder, not in My Drive. Uninstalling does not delete it
Restore, cancel, or manage Pocket Pages Plus Use Restore purchases in Pocket Pages or the subscription and purchase settings for the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to buy it
Delete saved writing on this phone Settings → Delete all journal data. That removes saved pages in every journal, ordinary drafts, saved letters, remembered lines, reflection answers, and the photos on those pages. Journal names, the look, the passcode, and the Share anonymous usage stats switch stay. A letter or time capsule you have not put away can remain. This does not delete a Plus backup already in iCloud or Google Drive
Ask a privacy question or make a request Email support@numorotech.com

Important Because there is no account, uninstalling or clearing storage is the main way to delete your journal. We cannot remotely erase what exists only on your device.

6. What information we handle

In plain language Examples Where it comes from
Your writing on this device — journal pages, extra journals you create, letters, lines you ask to remember, sealed time capsules, optional photos, optional handwriting, theme and typeface choices, and optional reminder times Text you type; photo files you attach; pen strokes; cover and page look; local reminder schedule You and your device
Optional anonymous product telemetry — only if you leave usage stats on (default on): coarse event counts (for example first export, paywall shown, plan category selected, purchase/restore outcome, or premium cosmetic type), crash stack traces, and performance timings. Never journal text, photos, handwriting, passcodes, RevenueCat/customer/product IDs, receipts, transaction IDs, prices, or contact information. Device identifiers and product-interaction events processed by Google Firebase when the toggle is on Your device, when usage stats are enabled
Optional Plus cloud backup in your Apple or Google account — only if you turn on Pocket Pages Plus cloud backup. An encrypted ZIP of your journal is stored in your iCloud Documents container (iPhone) or a hidden Google Drive app folder (Android). Numoro Tech does not receive the file. Encrypted ZIP of your journals, photos, letters, remembered lines, and optional Reflections; optional backup PIN (never the journal passcode). On Android, the Google email for Drive backup is saved on this phone and shown in Backup so Pocket Pages can open that hidden Drive folder. It is not sent to Numoro Tech with your journal You, on this device, into your iCloud or Google account
Optional Pocket Pages Plus purchase status — information needed to offer, complete, restore, and manage monthly/yearly subscriptions or a lifetime purchase A RevenueCat-generated anonymous app user ID; store product and transaction identifiers; subscription, trial, renewal, expiration, refund, and entitlement status; country/currency metadata supplied by the store. We do not receive your payment-card number. Apple App Store or Google Play, your device, and RevenueCat when you view or use Pocket Pages Plus
What you send if you email us Your email address and message content You, when you contact support

What we do not collect in this version

7. How we use information

Why What we typically use
Let you journal and keep your pages, themes, and calendar on your device On-device journal, themes, and settings
Improve stability and performance when you opt in to usage stats Anonymous crash and performance data via Google Firebase
Understand coarse product milestones when you opt in (never journal content) Anonymous event counts via Google Firebase Analytics
Show store-localized Pocket Pages Plus options, complete or restore a purchase, verify cosmetic access, prevent purchase fraud, and provide subscription management Anonymous purchase and entitlement status from Apple/Google and RevenueCat
Respond to support and privacy requests; meet legal duties What you send when you contact us

Where laws require a legal basis, we rely on providing the App you requested, legitimate interests in responding to support and securing our communications, and consent where required. Your journal content is processed on your device to provide the App; we do not receive it unless you choose to include it in an email to us.

8. When we share information

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who In plain language Why
Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring) When usage stats are on, helps us count anonymous events, diagnose crashes, and measure performance Service provider under contract; not for cross-app ad tracking
RevenueCat (privacy information) and Apple App Store / Google Play Help display optional Pocket Pages Plus products, process store transactions, check purchase status, restore access, and manage subscriptions Purchase-status service provider and store platform. They do not receive journal entries, photos, handwriting, reflections, or passcodes from us.
Advisors or authorities when required When the law requires disclosure Legal compliance or security

When usage stats are on, we do not send journal entries, photos, handwriting, or passcodes to analytics partners. If you email us, your message is handled so we can respond.

9. How long we keep information

10. Where information is processed

Core journaling stays on your device. If usage stats are on, anonymous telemetry may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. Pocket Pages Plus purchase status may be processed where Apple, Google, and RevenueCat operate. If you email us, that correspondence may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our email tools operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.

11. How we protect information

Journal pages and attached photos are encrypted on your device (AES-GCM). The encryption key is stored in the platform Keychain (iOS) or Keystore (Android), not in your journal passcode. Optional passcode / biometric unlock only gates when that key may sit in memory — it does not replace at-rest encryption. Optional ZIP backups you export can be protected with a passphrase you choose; that passphrase is not stored in the App. Pocket Pages Plus can also save an encrypted ZIP to your iCloud or Google Drive. That cloud copy uses a device-generated key — on iPhone it can sync with iCloud Keychain — and an optional backup PIN you may set for a new phone. Android stores a wrapped copy of the key in your hidden Drive app folder. Numoro Tech cannot read it. If you set a backup PIN and forget it, nobody can restore from cloud — not us, not Apple, not Google. Your journal passcode is not the backup PIN and is not the Export ZIP passphrase. Protect your device with a passcode or biometrics and keep backups you control. Uninstalling still removes journal data on that device; a Plus cloud copy remains only if you already backed up. No method of storage is completely secure — especially on a compromised or jailbroken device.

12. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact support@numorotech.com if you believe a child provided personal information to us.

13. California residents

14. Europe, UK, and Switzerland

You may have GDPR / UK GDPR (or Swiss) rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Email support@numorotech.com. Most journal content exists only on your device, so clearing App storage or uninstalling is how you delete it.

15. Automated decisions and tracking signals

We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. The App does not specially respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals; use the choices in Section 5.

16. Device permissions, cookies, and similar technologies

Pocket Pages is designed for offline journaling on your device. Core writing and reading do not require network access. Optional features may prompt for:

We do not ask for contacts or continuous location access for the current App. Microphone access is only for optional Dictate (see above). If a future feature needs a new permission, your device will prompt you.

These legal pages are a static website and do not use advertising cookies. Inside the App, optional usage stats (default on) use Google Firebase without advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking. You can turn them off in Settings. Device local storage holds your journal so the App can work offline.

17. Social logins and information from elsewhere

We do not offer a Pocket Pages login. Optional Google Sign-In on Android is only used to save an encrypted Plus backup into Drive’s hidden appData folder. We do not buy mailing lists or enrich profiles from data brokers or marketing partners. We only handle information as described in Section 6.

18. Other websites and app stores

Links to Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or other sites we do not control are covered by those companies’ own policies—not this one.

19. If our business changes

If we merge, are acquired, or sell assets, personal information we hold (for example, support emails) may transfer as part of that deal, under this Policy or a successor that is at least as protective where the law requires. On-device journal data stays on your device unless you choose to move it. We will notify you of a material change in who controls information we hold when required.

20. Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising as described above. Email support@numorotech.com to exercise rights; we will respond as the applicable law requires.

21. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when practices, the App, or the law change, and will revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes we will take steps required by law. We aim to review this Policy at least yearly. Continued use after an update acknowledges the Policy to the extent allowed by law.

22. How to review, update, or delete the data we collect from you

Where the law allows, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Your Pocket Pages entries and settings live only on your device—clear App storage or uninstall to remove them. See Your privacy choices for step-by-step guidance. For Purchase or subscription records may remain with Apple, Google, or RevenueCat where required to provide restore, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your app-store settings. For questions about support emails, purchase-status privacy, or your rights, email support@numorotech.com with the App name and your request. We do not operate a traditional account for this App, and we cannot remotely wipe on-device journal data.
