Your Privacy Choices
1. No traditional account
We do not ask for an email, phone number, or social-media login to play Trivia Quest, and we do not keep a conventional customer profile we can search by your name or email. The App may create a temporary anonymous play ID (often when it starts) so optional friend rooms can work.
2. Information on your device
Solo progress, badges and levels, language preference, reminder settings, and your usage-stats preference are stored on your device. To remove them: open your device settings, find Trivia Quest, and clear its storage—or uninstall the App. Numorotech cannot delete that information for you from afar.
3. Friend games (nicknames per room)
When you create or join an optional friend room, the App asks for a nickname to show others in the lobby and match. You enter it each time; we do not save it in the App’s on-device storage. While a room is active, the nickname and live scores may be stored in our cloud systems so the match can work. Those records are tied to anonymous technical IDs, not to an email address or recoverable account.
Because of that design, we generally cannot find or erase a specific room record based only on an email you send us. If you have a concern, email support@numorotech.com with the subject “Trivia Quest privacy request” and any room codes you remember. We will take reasonable steps within the limits of anonymous systems.
4. Usage statistics, crash reports, and performance diagnostics
With your Settings choice (on by default), the App may send anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, and performance diagnostics through companies that help us run the App (currently including Google cloud services)—so we can improve features, fix bugs, and spot slowdowns. Not for ads and not linked to your name. Those signals may include coarse properties (such as content language, reminder on/off, quest level band, or which product test group you were in) but not nicknames, room codes, or question text.
Help improve the app in Settings is the single control for all three: Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Firebase Performance Monitoring. Turn it off anytime and none of them send data from that installation. Uninstalling also stops further App reports from that installation.
If you open a friend-room invite link in a browser at
jointrivia.app (with a room code in the URL), you may see a cookie
banner. Accept loads optional Google Analytics cookies so we can
count anonymous visits and button taps (for example, “Open app”). Reject
means those analytics cookies are not loaded. Room codes are never included in those
events. Your choice is stored in your browser; it is separate from
Help improve the app in the App’s Settings.
